Odd, as I was mentally compiling a few things over the last week or so. Now I can't remember any of them! Ain't that odd?
- I am officially the Queen of Frizz. Seriously, my hair is on constant attention, just seems the troops are confused as to which way to go! I am going to buy some of that None of Your Frizzness and see if that helps. It's bad.
- I may have talked myself into getting a new winter coat. Mine died about two years ago. Guess I should be picking up a new one, huh?
- I had my first manicure over our mini vacation. It was fun!
- I now like red. A lot. Not sure why. And this is a thinking about painting walls that color sort of way. It's a particular shade that I am esp fond of... a dark, not bright one.
- So love things that glow-in-the-dark! ( have I already mentioned that one??)
- I am on a brown kick. The brown with blue. Pink with brown. Purple with brown. Green with brown. I am seeing these everywhere it seems. Catalogs. Yarns. I like it. :)
I am going to be lazy. I can think of 3 stitchers that haven't posted this yet. So Outi, Prajantr and AnneR- you're it!

Basil, seems to be common....
Anyone have any other results???
You Are Basil |

Piglet?
Taken from Stuff With Thing
Your Score: Piglet
You scored 12 Ego, 14 Anxiety, and 12 Agency!

"It's a little Anxious," he said to himself, "to be a Very Small Animal Entirely Surrounded by Water. Christopher Robin and Pooh could escape by Climbing Trees, and Kanga could escape by Jumping, and Rabbit could escape by Burrowing, and Owl could escape by Flying, and Eeyore could escape by -- by Making a Loud Noise Until Rescued, and here am I, surrounded by water and I can't do anything."
You scored as Piglet!
ABOUT PIGLET: Piglet is a Very Small Animal, who used to live in his own house, a nice big tree. However, after Owl's house was blown over by a storm, he "found" Piglet's house, and Piglet didn't want to tell him that the home was already lived in. So he went to live with Pooh.
WHAT THIS SAYS ABOUT YOU: You are a rather nervous person, and you tend to worry about The Worst happening. You don't really feel capable of dealing with the things that life could throw at you, and so you tend to fret about it. You are one of those people who seems to think that worrying actually accomplishes something... and your friends can't help but love you for it. Your humble manner and self-deprecating ways make your friends feel good about themselves. They want to help and protect you.
Your loving friends are always trying to encourage you to be more independent, and they are right. You need to develop a bit of self confidence and stand on your own two feet.

7 things....
I was tagged by Emily to list 7 weird things about me.
Confession, all the things about me are weird, but, I will try to name only a few.
- I wasn't able to sleep with socks on no matter how cold it was because the feeling of cloth rubbing on my feet drove me nuts. Now suddenly, I can!
- My hands itch when cutting up apples, potatos, onions, or anything citrus so I have to stop and rinse or wash my hands several times when preparing them. (I thought everyone was like this, I was informed, no they are not.)
- I have watched a few movies a bazillion times all because of clicking through and stumbling on them. For example- Overboard. I have seen it again just recently. I guess they are sort of my "can't pass up" movies. I will think of others to name later of course.
- My favorite song is Dreamweaver by Gary Wright.
- I knew I wanted to be a mom when I was 2.
- I love birds, but they freak me out. (I can't tell what they are thinking you know? With a cat or dog there are more cues, with a tail, or sound but with birds, *shiver, nope.) I just prefer to watch them outside I guess. I don't think I will ever have one as a pet.
- I can't spell "bureau", not matter what. I will type and retype and have to hit spell check to get it right. I tried making up a rhyme last night as a matter of fact to help me! And even when I do spell it right, it doesn't look right to me. (Here is the rhyme, "B U R, B U R, EAU". To the first line of the tune "If You're Happy".) I think it worked.
And you wanted to know. Ha!
I tag:San, Laura, Kathy, prajantr,Anne, Val, and the The Crock Pot Lady.
Here are the rules:
1. Once you are tagged, link back to the person who tagged you.
2. Post THE RULES on your blog.
3. Post 7 weird or random facts about yourself on your blog.
4. Tag 7 people and link to them
5. Comment on their blog to let them know they have been tagged.

Peanut butter is an essential part of childhood, and you have a high-energy approach to life that reminds us of a little kid running around the playground. (Bet you'd love to skip all the stuff you're supposed to be doing today and hang out in the park with your friends.) Your personality is a happy, chewy blob of peanutty goodness.

8 Random things
Each player starts with 8 random facts/habits about themselves. This was to get me back into it *wink.
So on to the good stuff:
People who are tagged write a blog post about their own 8 random things and post these rules.
At the end of your post you need to tag 8 people and include their names.
Don’t forget to leave them a comment and tell them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
- I am bothered by assumptions about people. Case in point: someone asked me if I was "still with the father of" my (she pointed in my son's direction). Yup that's it. "Still with the father of" was the words she used. I replied yes, that we are still married. Will be 11 years next month. Don't know why it still bothers me so. Maybe it was the wording, or lack of, who knows. To make an assumption about someone based on little to nothing is so odd to me. Never mind the fact that my son could have heard it, being discussed in such a way. Then again, being married and with the person years down the road and having children by him and only him I guess is odd now. (mini-rant done)
- I love to plant things from seed. Something about that little sprout poking out of the soil makes me smile. I planted several huge organic sunflowers to go into our friend's organic garden. I started them and off they went to his house to go into the ground as soon as the frost threat is gone. Now I have geraniums and more sunflowers for myself going. Too bad our growing season is so short.
- My new hobby is my skin. Doesn't that sound weird? Yup, it's true. Trying to take better care of me.
- Blogging, and the internet in general is sort of boring me lately. Not to offend anyone. Just seems I am so busy lately with other things. Visiting friends, the kids are having a bunch of friends over, reading, and all the other things. Oddly though, I haven't picked up a needle in several weeks now. Not a knit, purl or cross to be made. I have been outside so much walking and playing Wiffleball. It's been so fun!
- I have never climbed a tree, or fence, or anything that could be considered high. I started using ladders only about a decade ago or so.
- (Reason for number 5) I am scared of heights, really, really scared. So I guess there won't be any skydiving in my future!
- I love to canoe. Something about the paddling is relaxing to me. Granted I have only canoed in calm waters, with plans to keep it that way. And just in case you were curious, I haven't been in years. Should change that me thinks.
- If I could live completely off the grid, I would. Solar power, wind power, the whole thing. I disgusts me how helpless we are as people that when the power goes out so does our daily life. This isn't because of the last storm either. I am a little obsessed with the notion of living greener. I reduce, reuse and recycle even when I don't need to. It's just something I feel strongly about, and have for a very long time. (Side note, I saw a program about solar paint. Isn't that awesome? They are working on a paint using nanotechnology you could apply to your house that would gather energy from the sun to help run your house! Awesome! Imagine the possibilities!)
Since I don't think there is anyone left to tag.......
Can you believe it took me 3 days to think of eight things? Bleh!
