My Dad and Stepmother came over today for a couple of hours. It was a nice visit! We exchanged presents and got to sit, relax and catch up. Silly of me though. Here we are nearing Christmas at a fast rate and I haven't put up the tree yet or brought out the winter decorations. Yes, the artificial autumn colored flowers are still out. Whoopsie! But the house is looking better (aka, getting rid of stuff) so I guess this is sort of "the process".
This week, the goal is Christmas shopping. So here is my brain organizing itself-
I have finished
3 of my nephews- to be mailed
my Grammy- to be mailed
My Dad and Stepmom (obviously)
ordered my BIL girlfriends cookbooks, they should be here soon!
my sister (need to wrap)
my aunt S. (need to wrap)
I have started
the kids
Still left
Um, Christmas Cards! I wanted to take pics of the kids (as that's what everyone wants) and upload them to WalMart and have them made into Christmas cards. They'd be preprinted with what I want them to say. And I thought I'd include another wallet of the kids, and some would get the pics of them individually that were taken at school. I only ordered a small packet of those *cough $$$
Shopping for
my Brother-in-law
Father-in-law (already decided)
Mother-in-law (already decided)
Aunt T. (?)
Mom (?)
Stepdad (?)
2 more nieces, 2 more nephews
one more niece (need to "finish" that da** ornament!)
Hubby (planned, need to go get)
more for the kids (already planned what , just need to go get them!)
Gift cert for one niece, and tights and a GC for her new baby sister (my newest niece!)
Each of my kids are having Holiday parties at school and must bring in an item each (boy with $7 limit, girl with $3 limit)
And I want to make things this year as well, I was hoping to make a couple batches of cookies and that cocoa spoon thing I have been tossing around the idea of the last few Christmases.
Is that everyone?
Must got make the hidden list now, handwritten and with details like prices and such.

Aren't the hlidays crazy? I still have holiday cards left too - I'd come up to snap pics for you, but hubby said no to a road tip this weekend. :P
Ahhhh - and I've got bad typos too. It must be catching...
