.. Here we go.
Excuse the rambling about to come, but, since I talk to much faster than I type (right Tracy?) this'll have to do. So much has happened. The weather has been gorgeous, and we have been busy. The school year is wrapping up so all the last minute field trips and shows have been going on too.
So, where to start. Not the beginning, so I'll jump around as it pops into my head.
Thank you again Jenna for the lovely bracelet and goodies it came with. I haven't taken a picture yet simply because I am so disgusted with the camera. > The story behind that:
We went to the Portland Seadogs game. My son's school chorus group was going to sing the Star Spangled Banner. Awesome performance, we ate like crazy, cheered and had a blast. I took loads of pictures and bumped the camera as I got into my seat on the bus for the ride home which wiped the memory card. I was upset to say the least.

While (yes look way down the page for the reference, I think it's still there, guilty blogger here hasn't been updating much) shopping with Tric and Drew I came across a pattern booklet in the local yarn shop. What a find! I was so surprised to see anything cross stitch related there! I had my eye on it online for a while now. Odd how I seem to like bird patterns don't you think? They whisper to me it seems.
Jenna's bracelet had come in time for me to model it for Tric too. Presents are so much nicer when you can show it to everyone possible! *giggle.
Another goodie came in the mail , well, besides my lovely subscription to Cross Stitcher that arrived about 2 days ago (thank you to my floss kid Val *waves). I received a note from the mail carrier in my mailbox that said I had a package that needed to be signed for and picked up at the post office. Package? From where? I recognized the name and voila I have a new fob made as a thank you for righting a wrong.

Okay, I tried to take a picture. Batteries are dead, so, until the next trip to the store....!

I hope that your new bracelet met with Tric's approval. ;) Sorry you lost the pictures of your son's chorus group event. I'm sure everyone had a great time, though, and that's what you remember. :)
