Do you know what this is????

My neighbor has these growing in her yard. And, I like them! Does anyone know what it is called? Or anything else about it? She (my neighbor) has them growing along a fairly steep hill.
This was the clearest picture I could take. Good thing I did too because if I had waited any longer the blossom would have fallen off by then (yeah, the petals fell off one by one then it shriveled). I have kept it though, since it looks like it may possibly bloom again.

No, sorry, I don't know what it is, but it's gorgeous! I'm assuming that it's a wildflower? Beautiful. :)

it looks like it may be related to the morning glory. does it climb like an ivy?

Thank you Jenna- We aren't sure if it's wild. The person who owned the house prior to my neighbor now had many flowers and plants. So we aren't sure if it was deliberate.
Hi Shannon-No, doesn't seem to climb. And thank you for trying to help. It's driving me nuts. I NEED to know what it is now. I am determined!

Hi! I have a potential identification:

perennial Geranium, also known as Crane's-bill.

There's my best shot at the identification for you. :)

I am with prajantr, I have always referred to these as 'common geraniums' and have a large bunch growing in my garden. If you cut them back when they finish flowering they will bloom again later in the year:)

We have them too - don't know the name though, we got them as a present from hubby's aunt. I could ask her next time I see her?
They're VERY easy to multiply, just dig up a patch and rip it apart, plant it where you want it and before you know it you have a forest! :)
