care bear where?
Looks as though they have "fixed" a character again! The Care Bears Have had plastic surgery, and I am guessing will have attitudes to match. They did this to Strawberry Shorcake, now the Care Bears. Eee-gads, let's hope they don't touch the Smurfs!
yup, My Little Ponies are different from the old ones too, but it's more subtle...
Strawberry Shortcake was a modernisation, I don't care for that, and anyway the dolls are more fragile now then before. I wonder how long they remain whole in the hands of the little ones.
Here the Care Bears look like going through a babysation, a new fashion, you have Newton's law, Mickey Mouse, Winnie the pooh going through the same process. A new collection?
Prajantr, um yes, they changed those a little too. And my daughter just hasn't really gotten into them, old or new. *sigh, probably Angelsan. Just don't like when they fix things that aren't broken!
But the My little Ponies aren't that different from the old ones - my daughter has my old ones and a couple of new ones, and the most noticeable is that the new ones have a magnet in one of their hooves. Makes them able to "stand" on the fridge, see! ;)

It's the whole baby-thing, like Angelsan said.
