Yes, it's me. I am still alive.
I have a WIP that I can't share as it's for an exchange. Once I send it and it's received I will post. But I am late on it. *sigh.
The kids are home. Busy. Busy. Busy!
Food leaves this house at an alarming rate.
I have been spending most of my time either doing the bedroom furniture, preparing/buying food, or cleaning the damn couch. *Grr, don't want to go into that.
As far as the bedroom furniture- I bought two of these! And this(I have no idea why it doesn't have a back on it. Mine does.)
Bureau One- has had primer and two coats. Need to do the handles.
Bureau Two- primed and first coat, should be ready for the second one tomorrow. I hope so!
Nightstand: Done! Primer, first coat of paint, second and painted handle is on! Looks great!
DD's 8th bday party is coming up too.
Can someone please tell me where the time has gone?

I remember having a book case that was bought as the 'unfinished' type a long time ago. My mom painted it light blue to match the walls in my room. The circle of life continues!
You are certainly staying busy! I refinished some pieces for my bedroom LONG ago when I got my first apartment! That's a hard job, but you feel such a feeling of accomplishment when you get it done! And you have furniture that is truly unique and your own! Can't wait to see pictures when they are finished! Have a great day!

It's amazing the chaos that insues when the kids are out of school for the summer~~and I feel like I buy twice the amt of food when they're all home, lol!
