I have signed up for my very first Secret Pal Exchange!
..."You will receive your partners name on January 22nd and you have until February 6th to send out your package"....
I am very excited and trying to resist the urge to start buying right now! I think it would be best to know who I am gathering for and see what she would like. I think I can snoop around her gallery and see what she typically does and uses and I can even search through all the other posts to find out what she may have mentioned wanting.... Sneeky, sneeky me! Hee! hee!
What a great pick-me-up to battle the winter blahs! :) it would be ironic if I got one of my floss adoptees!

Ah. I'd signed in to it if there'd been any more time or I'd were richer. :P (I've to take good care of my "kid" in Germany so... ;)
Anyway your tactics sound like mine in Fall Secret Pal I participated in autumn (What a surprise!;).
Beware, you'll become an exchange-o-holic soon... ;)
Btw, it seems to me that for some reason LJ doesn't want to support beautiful links from anonymous commenters
[ ] anymore
[ ] at the moment.
I was curious and posted as anonymous few links and in preview they looked great but... :(
International conspiracy against interblogged relations or something. ;)
What did you get from your exchange?
I had to consult my blog, and this is what I got (from Rósa):
* Mill Hill's kit (Autumn Harvest)
* The Victoria Sampler's Kloster blocks learning kit (Rósa knew that I want to try hardanger)
* hand-dyed fabric from... Silkweaver!
And I sent to my SP thing or two... I had froggy so it was easy. ;)
