Notice the title to the exchange- Whew!
Glutton for punishment that I am, I have signed up for a Needleroll Exchange. Despite the fact that I have never made one!
"The sign up ends on the 31st January, and the send out date will be week of the 27th March"
I won't post any pics until after the recipient receives it~ wouldn't want to ruin the surprise! The one most surprised will probably be me... I could stitch all day long. It's the finishing I hate!Washing, pressing, blah, blah, blah. Once I have stitched it , it's out of my mind and I am ready to begin something new.
Anyone else like that?

I have never made a needleroll either, but as I see it: exchanges are great opportunity to try new finishing techniques. :) (I participated EMS BB's Needlecase and scissor fob exchange last year and it was first time I made a needlecase. (You can find entry about it if you look from my blog's archives: 29th of September, 2005))
But when it comes to stitching vs. finishing I'd rather be stitching, but on the other hand finishing something I've stitched gives also pleasure - after it's finished! And in exchange case: received and liked.
... at the moment I have to finish one exchange item, and as usual, I'll try new finishing method and guess am I bit worried about how it'll turn out? :D
I'm always ready to start something new before I've even fully stitched my current project, let alone finishing it.
I've never made a needleroll, but I'm sure you'll do just fine :)
This is going to be fun and easy. Just sewing a tube, with some ribon or something :) Val can surely explain it better than I can ;)
As for starting something new, I am always ready .. but I usually feel bad for the things I "left behind". So my basic idea is to have one big project and a few smaller ones .. works good for me.
I usually do remember I have stitched a certain pattern. However, when it comes to my stash, I am sometimes surprised I have this or that pattern .. weird ..
