Here is the first of intended presents. Details: Bernat Boa, "Flamingo" Size 9 needles and took about 2 or 3 days to complete, here and there. Approx 33" x 5" using no pattern, I was winging it ;)

Yes, you can really block it on a bed or on the floor. You need pins long enough to poke into the surface and hold. Since I'm blocking on a bed, I need long pins. The ones I use are about 2 inches in length.
