The roof has no sno-ow!
I had a neighbor come over and clear the roof off of, *gasp, over a foot of snow. Our calculations put it at about a foot-and-a-half in some areas. My roof rake just can't reach it all. I tried. But I gave in because I can't let my roof collapse because I can't admit I can't do it all from the ground. He shoveled and scooped and I grabbed anything that came near the edge with the rake. I like to think it helped him.
I gave him some money and have arranged it so that the next time he's in a bind, I will watch his son for him.
Thank you J.
Now it's freezing rain!
Me thinks I will stitch a bit today, maybe. The kids had school canceled again. They'll be going in July if this keeps up!
Yooo-hoo! Spri-i-ing! Where are you????

How nice of your neighbor to come over and help out. I just can't imagine that much snow on a roof. No wonder you needed to get it shoveled off!
I wish I could send you some spring-like weather. We've had a nice couple of days, with temps in the 60's yesterday and Monday.
So glad that you got the snow off your roof! I hope my mom's roof doesn't collapse ... no way of getting way up there.
Sounds like you got the winter-blues. Hope the weather improves. :)
It's always good to ensure that the roof doesn't come down on your head. :P
Does it count if my GSD placed the first robin of spring at my feet as a dinner offering? (Eewww!)
