Seems as though I have spent most of my time in the kitchen lately- so no stitching. *sigh* I love to eat, and baking is usually fun for me too, but lately it's dinners and cleaning up from them.
Last night was breaded and baked chicken, marinated earlier in the day, with alfredo over whole wheat rotini. It was a fast fix, we went out for game night at a neighbor's. It was great.
Today is a beef stew. Just stew meat, carrots, onion, celery and potato with some seasonings. You'd think it would be a quick fix. Nope. Wash. Cut. Brown. Blah.
I would love to have summer now please. I am so ready for the barbeques, corn-on-the-cob, and salad. Mmmmm.

I understand what you mean about spending time in the kitchen. I too am so ready for warmer weather and grilling. So much easier and alot less mess in the kitchen.

Baking is fun, but cooking, it's mostly a matter of that I like to eat good food. :) I make lots so there are leftovers, but then it's just me eating it, and like Monique says, I'd rather be stitchin!!
