Jar SAL pic as promised

I took this one of my progress, just before I started on it again... hm, can't recall what day. I didn't stitch for several days even though I was in the mood to, what with the aloe and neosporin (sp) all over my arm. Even when it started to feel a little better I just didn't want to risk getting stuff on my stitching. Ick!
(*update, the file says it was taken the 12th.)
I will take another pic at some point. I figure if I am back in to the stitching the pics can come when and if ever.... it's the stitching that counts! Right?

I don't think could bear to stitch the outline of the whole thing first. I'd much rather do one motif at a time. Hope you don't get bored before you get to do a full month!

What did you do to your arm? Hope it's recovering, whatever it is.

I burned it by spilling fresh-made hot tea down my arm and lap. GO me.
Ya, I am kind of regretting doing the outline first, but, I figured I'd do it as the others had started it. Lol. We'll see- I may just do a month here or there just to break things up.

Ouch on the burn! For the record, lavender essential oil works wonders for burns. Miracles, actually. I spilled hot soap (I was making soap and messed up when pouring it into the mold) on one of my fingers a couple of years ago and the blister was BAD. It ballooned up to about 1/4 inch tall and I had to use one of the special blister bandages that feels almost like rubber skin and seals it airtight for several day. I put a bunch of lavender oil on before sealing it up and then every day after removing the bandage and I don't even have a scar. I don't even remember which finger it was!
