Now if they had thrown in a few words that end in "r", such as "whatever", "car" or "there", it would have been more accurate. And even then, it depends on how fast I am talking. Or if I am tired or what have you.
Any local could pick me out of a crowd in two seconds- a tourist, maybe.
And if I impersonate certain relatives, more so... hee hee.

Did I mention that if you throw Mainers in with anyone else with any other accent,(yes, anyone, overseas even) we will end up talking like them? "'Magine that!"
